The Month of March

  • The third month of the Roman calendar.
  • Beginning of spring in the southern hemisphere.
  • Has 31 days.
  • Has the Full Worm Moon.
  • The daffodil is the month’s flower (new birth, love, and joy)
  • Aquamarine is its birthstone.

What can we learn from this month?

  • Forgiveness releases the soul.
  • We always have the opportunity to change.
  • We can overcome any challenge.
  • Fear can be overcome.
  • There is always hope.
  • Believe in yourself
  • And, know God is with you.

  1. I like that March is a month of transition and change…winter easing into spring. It definitely brings renewal and hope.
A great look at the month and its meanings, Karen. I loved your poem, too.
As for daffodils, it always amazes me that something so pretty and fragile looking can stand up to such unpredictable weather. I guess that is a lesson in itself!

    1. I love March because it does mean the things I love: warmer weather, flowers blooming, trees showing new leaves or buds, and the warmth of the sun and blue skies. Thanks for sharing.
